the bungalow
Your own Baja vacation rental near the beach.
Cielo Pacífico is located in a new, sustainably-minded, and simply-designed vacation community, Casa Hygge. The community is nestled amongst agriculture fields (basil and poblano peppers) and just a short walk to the beach in El Pescadero, which is a quaint town about ten minutes south of Todos Santos. It’s a true desert oasis that is surrounded by lush bougainvilleas, unique cacti, and the most gorgeous sky views…
Cielo Pacífico means “peaceful sky” in español and it’s just one of the incredible natural elements that is ever present in Baja California Sur. If you haven’t been to this area yet, you will fall in love with the land, the water, the people, and the vibe. Such magic happens where the ocean meets the desert, mountains, and pockets of palm trees!

The bungalow features a comfortable King size bed, built-in storage for clothing + other travel belongings, and hanging space with plenty of hangers. There is a wall-mounted Roku TV where you can easily log into your own personal Netflix or Roku account. For the digital nomads, there is a sleek wall-mounted standing desk that folds out when you need to use it! The wifi is excellent, which is great for those who need to be connected. Each bungalow has their own secure wifi and the common game room / gym has its own wifi too, so you can log in while being entertained or working out.
The kitchen is stocked with a wide array of cooking essentials for making meals. We love to cook and entertain, and know many others do too. You will feel right at home! There are plates, bowls, flatware, glassware, dessert cups, shot glasses + cocktail mixer, can opener, serving utensils, popsicle molds, and plastic cups for bringing drinks to the pool (or for a youngster). There’s a set of 4 of all dinnerware, so you can always have a “neighbor” or two over for a homemade meal! A round serving tray is on-hand for bringing snacks and beverages upstairs to the rooftop patio or over to the game room. There is NO GAS within our unit (it’s completely electric) and the 2-burner electric stove is great for whipping up any meal during the day. Other kitchen essentials include a coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, toaster oven, blender, beverage whisker, and a salad spinner for those yummy locally-grown fresh greens!
The living room is very cozy with a two-person couch, two comfy chairs, and a low coffee table with a handful of books + magazines we thought you might enjoy. ** Fun fact: all of the furniture at Casa Hygge is made locally, many of the pieces highlighting beautiful Mexican rose wood. The bungalow is equipped with air conditioning, a ceiling fan, and screened-in windows for keeping cool. A floor-to-ceiling sliding door (with screens) is at the front of the bungalow and there are sunlight-blocking curtains too.
The bathroom features an open-air waterfall shower, pebble flooring (all of the stones were hand-picked and placed by the owners of Casa Hygge), and is stocked with luxurious + eco-friendly shampoo, conditioner + body wash, as well as bath towels. There is a tray and ring holder for placing your jewels while you sleep or swim.
Your private rooftop lounge patio has fabulous views (ocean to the west, mountains to the east + an agriculture field to the north), outdoor lights for ambiance, a built-in cozy couch, two lounge chairs, a large low table, and a hammock for enjoying the breeze.
The front porch features two chairs and a small table – perfect for morning coffee / tea or reading a book.
In the laundry closet, there is a washer / dryer combo with eco-friendly soap for your use, as well as a clothesline out back for hanging your wet swimsuits and towels.
You’ll be happy to know that there’s a dedicated covered parking spot for you enclosed inside Casa Hygge entrance.
And, throughout the bungalow, you’ll notice thoughtful details – we love to support artisans + small businesses!
